The main roles and uses of high chromium steel include the following:
Mold manufacturing: high chromium steel is commonly used to make molds that bear loads, have complex shapes, require small deformation, high wear resistance and good red hardness. This material is suitable for a variety of high wear-resistant tools and molds, such as cold punching dies, cold shear dies.
Tool and machine making: High chrome steel is commonly used in the manufacture of machines and tools due to its hard texture. This material can withstand high loads and long periods of time and is suitable for a variety of industrial and mechanical applications.
Bearing Manufacturing: 100Cr6 bearing steel is a high-carbon, high-chromium bearing steel characterized by high hardness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, good machinability, high fatigue strength and high temperature resistance. It is suitable for high speed and high load bearings and harsh working conditions, and is widely used in small and medium-sized bearings and highly demanding machine parts.
Hardware molds and cutting tools: 2379 steel (Lay's body high carbon and high chromium steel) has very high wear resistance and toughness, suitable for high-performance cutting tools and precision hardware molds. In addition, it is also used in the manufacture of high-strength requirements of parts, such as precision hardware molds and cutting tools.
